The 1885-CC Morgan Dollar is a highly sought-after coin, struck at the Carson City Mint (CC). With a relatively low mintage and its connection to the legendary Carson City Mint, this coin is a key date for Morgan Dollar collectors.

Many were stored in U.S. Treasury vaults and later sold in the GSA Hoard (General Services Administration) sales of the 1970s.

Some minor die variations exist, but no major errors are widely recognized.

Strong demand due to Carson City Mint heritage and low mintage.

1885 was one of the last years of Morgan Dollar production at this mint, adding to its historical importance.
