Crispy Skin, Juicy Meat: Mastering Instant Pot Chicken Legs in Minutes.

Cooking chicken legs in an Instant Pot is a game changer when it comes to preparing tender and flavorful poultry quickly.

The Instant Pot helps lock in moisture, ensuring the meat stays juicy, while the pressure cooking process makes it tender in record time.

However, achieving that crispy skin can seem challenging, but with the right technique, you can have both crispy skin and juicy meat!

First, season the chicken legs with your preferred spices. You can go classic with salt, pepper, and garlic powder or experiment with paprika, rosemary, or lemon zest for extra flavor.

Next, set your Instant Pot to the "Sauté" function and brown the chicken legs on both sides for a couple of minutes. This step helps develop flavor and gives the skin a head start in crisping up.

Once the legs are browned, remove them and add a small amount of liquid, such as chicken broth or water, to the pot. Place the chicken back in the Instant Pot and set it to pressure cook for about 10-12 minutes.

After the cooking time is up, don’t forget to let the pressure release naturally for a few minutes.

To get that perfectly crispy skin, finish off the chicken legs by broiling them in the oven for a couple of minutes.

This will give you a beautifully golden, crispy finish while keeping the meat juicy and tender inside.
